A Little About Myself

A lover of all design, I am Lindsey Rogers, with a passion for lifestyle and portrait newborn, child, and family photography. Seven years ago I lived in Chicago, IL where I received my Masters in Architecture. Love for details, design & art influenced my way of seeing the world. I was balancing photography and architecture in school but after graduating, you’ve already guessed which career won!

I am adopted, and when I was young my family became a foster home for newborn babies. I loved those first weeks we spent with so many special babies. I think this was the very beginning of my love of the newborn stage. Once while in high school, I made a wrap ( similar to the Beaufort Bonnet ones they have now) and took newborn photos for the adopting family. They used the photo in their birth announcement. I was so proud. Little did I know at 14 that my job would be doing just that years later!

I have a master’s in architecture and believe my love for details, design, and art has influenced my way of seeing the world and my business. I have been working to define myself as an artist and photographer. I love being able to capture memories for my clients to treasure as timeless images framed in their homes. I was balancing photography and architecture in school but after graduating, you can see which career won!

I live in Crowley, La. with my sweet husband John and our daughter Lita. We are forever renovating our home, traveling whenever we can, and, of course, photographing beautiful babies and families.
