BEFORE the Session.
Only a number of sessions are scheduled each month. To secure a session, please sign and send in the Client Form and Retainer fee.
I suggest picking out the outfits parents and children will wear, a few days prior to your session. Please feel free to email me outfit selections and I will happy to help choose what will photograph best. I also have a Curated Closet for all booking clients to borrow from. I also have all the newborn/baby/child cklothing from newborn-12yrs in both boy and girl. No need to stress about outfits.
For newborns, I ask the parents to try and keep baby up in the morning and give the baby a bath and a full meal before the session. If possible, please prepare a bottle so I can help assist with feedings. After booking, I will send a detailed list of parent preparations for more on insuring a smooth newborn session. For older children I ask mommies to make sure they have full tummies and are rested. It is best to start the sessions with children comfortable and content.

During the session.
Newborns -You have the outfits picked and the newborn ready. Your work is done! Now it is my turn to be the ‘Newborn Whisperer. I will have the area for baby very warm and loud noise machine going. I want you to feel confident your bundle is in good care. Please feel free to watch or take the time to relax. The session will last between 2.5-5 hours, depending on baby. It’s important to have fun and enjoy this special time, it goes by so quickly!
Family – I have a checklist of poses to get your family the most flattering portraits. I also enjoy incorporating candid lifestyle moments in each of the sessions. We will sing songs, give tickles, and play little games to keep the session flowing. If you have special tricks, dances, noises, or songs you know makes your little one smile, please do it! I love when parents are behind the scenes making their babies giggle!

After the session.
Your custom client gallery will be edited and sent approximately six weeks after the session takes place. In the gallery your photographs will be hand edited in my signature organic airy style. If your chosen package comes with digital files, you will be able to download them directly from the on-line gallery. Ordering prints is as simple as selecting your favorites and sending them to print through my professional lab. If you would like custom heirloom mounted portraits or albums, you can email me to purchase those specialized products.
